Behavioral Services

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) looks to analyze the relationship between behavior and the environment. In applying the science of behavior analysis, we use evidence-based methods to increase and strengthen positive behaviors that create opportunities and independence for your child, and work to decrease behaviors that may be harmful or limiting.

As much as possible, your Aspire Behavioral Services team will embed goals within daily routines that support your child’s interests and motivations to make sure service delivery is as natural and fun as possible. Our therapy sessions are designed to appear and feel like play for your child.

In order to receive ABA services a medical diagnosis is needed. Aspire Behavioral Services partners with other diagnostic professionals to help assist with diagnostic assessments. Research shows that in order for ABA services to have the full impact desired, services need to be started as early as possible. Getting a diagnosis for your child can be challenging, but the good news is we are here to help!

Treatment

ABA therapy may be provided in your home. While there our clinicians blend instruction in structured settings, like at your kitchen table, but while in your child’s natural environment (home). In-home therapy also provides opportunities for your whole family to participate in treatment services.

Home-Based 1:1 ABA Therapy

Community-Based 1:1 ABA Therapy

Your child can participate in ABA therapy in community-based settings, like libraries, parks, & retail stores. Your child can experience and learn in real-world situations, like waiting in line, playing in public places, and ordering and paying for goods and services.

Clinic-Based 1:1 & Group ABA Therapy

Our clinics offer your child the opportunity to learn and grow in a traditional school-like environment. They will participate in group activities, follow routines, share, and build relationships with peers, and will learn to adjust to time away from parents and other family members. Children will also practice staying focused in a noisier environment.

School Based & Readiness Services

Our ABA providers will partner with you and your child’s school professionals to provide the additional behavioral support they need. This might include 1:1 support in the classroom; functional behavioral assessments; consulting services, including IEP team support; teacher trainings.
